Generation Estates (www.generationestates.co.uk) are seeking to recruit two Commercial Fund Accountants to join this privately held investment and management firm based in central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing, global real estate asset manager. Both roles will report directly to the CFO and assist with the reporting requirements for the Funds and its entities as well as general support for ad-hoc tasks including acquisitions.

A Qualified Accountant with an ACA or ACCA qualification, you will be used to working to tight deadlines. Strong communication skills are required to work closely with internal stakeholders as well as third party suppliers.

The job holder will be responsible for:

  • Compiling monthly reporting pack
  • Calculation of income distributions and IRRs using financial models
  • Reviewing financial accounts periodically
  • Take responsibility for quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Lead on annual audit process
  • Preparing quarterly reporting to lenders, including debt covenant compliance
  • Work on investor reporting
  • VAT reporting
  • Income tax reporting
  • Responsible for tax compliance
  • Management of fund administrator
  • Onboard new acquisitions

Quarterly reporting

In conjunction with Service providers prepare and review the following internal and external reporting requirements:

  • Distribution and Fund Model
  • NAV and management fees
  • Cost budgets At Fund, GP and SPV levels
  • Distribution forecasts
  • Review of all SPV quarterly financial statements

Debt Compliance reporting

  • On a quarterly basis ensure all debt compliance is prepared and submitted.

Cash reporting

  • Responsible for and monitoring including payment of suppliers. Reporting thereon.

Audit

  • Ensuring audit requests are pre-empted through the year.
  • Organising documents so they are easily accessible and shared.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Research for the Investment Team
  • Financial Modelling
  • Managing deliverables (this will include all external deadlines and the delivery path to meeting those which often involves outsource service providers).
