Our client is a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in Kings Hill. This Firm are seeking an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join their friendly Tax team. The successful candidate will ideally be CTA qualified with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in practice.

Description

  • To carry out technical reviews of personal tax computations on a varied portfolio of clients, and to provide support to help the firm implement pro-active tax planning advice for these clients.
  • Where required to support the wider team - carry out technical reviews of Personal Tax computations on a varied portfolio of clients
  • Supporting the Tax Leadership team in identifying, devising and delivering bespoke tax advice and solutions to clients
  • Delivering against agreed KPI's, including individual and team fee targets
  • Playing a key role in delivering against office business development objectives to drive higher fees for your team
  • Coaching and developing junior members of the team.
  • Completing Tax Returns, P11D's, Probates, Inheritance Tax, Estate Planning etc for a portfolio of Personal Tax Clients
  • Ongoing support with restructuring projects, including changing ownership of entities, liquidations and capital restructures
  • Assisting with Tax clearance, Tax inquires and be able to liaise with HMRC for a range of complex and detailed tax matters
  • Inheritance tax planning
  • Conducting client visits and meetings
  • Liaising with other departments
  • Mentoring and training Junior members of staff
  • Liaising with directors to ensure high-quality service
  • Representing the business at networking events

Profile

  • Will hold a relevant qualification e.g. ACA, CTA
  • Will have a strong personal tax background

Job Offer
