They are seeking a recruit a fully-qualified Management Accountant on a permanent, part-time (15 hours per week) basis.

They are seeking a recruit a fully-qualified Management Accountant on a permanent, part-time (15 hours per week) basis.

Description

Ufton is supported by its own in-house weddings business and this role will encompass both parts of the organisation.

Key tasks will include:

·Support the Chief Executive Officer with timely and accurate financial analysis as required

·Provide monthly commentary and analysis of financial performance

·Work closely with Financial Accountant to produce annual budget and quarterly forecasts

·Monitor and manage both income and expenditure against budgets highlighting issues

·Support fundraising team producing budget extracts for applications and expenditure analysis for end of grant reports.

·Collate impact data and produce summary evaluation reports for fundraising use

·Manage capital expenditure

·Take responsibility for provision of IT, systems and data security

·Company secretarial tasks including annual filing returns, arrange insurance cover and work with legal support to update terms and conditions as required, production of schedules for termly Trustee meetings.

·Ensure compliance with all financial regulations

Profile

·All candidates must be fully qualified ACMA/ACCA/ACA

Additional experience and attributes required include:

·Strong IT abilities and skilled user of Excel

·Focused and clear approach - Analytical and logical with problem solving skills

·Ability to work alone and as part of a team

·Clear & concise communicator: Written and oral

·Able to motivate / inspire colleagues

·Strong interpersonal skills

·Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise

·Able to work effectively under positive pressure

Previous experience within not-for-profit or charity organisations would be advantageous but is not essential.

Job Offer

The role will be offered on a permanent, part time (15 hours per week basis). The charity is flexible regarding how this could be structured in respect of number of days per week, depending on individual candidate preferences.

The salary on offer will be £22.50 per hour.

The successful applicant will receive 6 weeks' paid holiday per annum.
