Finance Business Partner - Cheltenham - Hybrid working - Manufacturing and supply chain
Currently partnering with my client an industry leading manufacturing business in Cheltenham. who are looking to recruit for a "Finance Business Partner" to join their team. This is a hybrid role that will require 2-3 days per week onsite in Cheltenham.
The role
- Develop and analyse both annual and individual standard costs
- Provide support to the Cheltenham plant to give insight and clear understanding of financial performance
- Develop and co-ordinate financial plans and forecasts working closely with each executive and their teams as relevant
- Act as a business partner for key stakeholders in the Integrated Business Planning process
- Support the Operations Team with Continuous Improvement projects
- Ensure adequate and fully reconciled balance sheet provisions relating to Operations in line with company policies and accounting standards.
- Responsible for the valuation of Inventory and ensuring it is in line with UK accounting standards
- Perform Financial Reconciliations at year end stock takes and providing support to the business during the stock take process across the business
- Perform month end activities and completion of internal month end reporting packages in line with reporting deadlines, providing insight and understanding of financial performance
- Build strong relationships with the wider business
The person
You will be a Qualified Accountant with a track record of business partnering with key stakeholders at all levels, ideally within a manufacturing business, but this isn't essential.
