Client Details
Small to medium sized business, is looking for a Finance Manager for initially a 12 month contract.
Description
The role is varied and involves organising the day-to-day functions of the finance department including:
- Take ownership of the monthly management accounts preparation and completion.
- Responsible for overseeing the monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and fixed asset reporting, ensuring its completeness on a monthly basis
- Overall responsibility for monthly payrolls and ensuring compliance with HMRC and other legal guidance.
- Responsibility for the preparation of VAT returns,
- Assisting in the annual budgeting process.
- Assist in the annual audit, preparing audit schedules.
- Staff management
Profile
You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) and be a good all rounder and have experience in Finance Manager type roles. You will be an effective team manager with good people skills with strong attention to detail.
Job Offer
The role is initially for 12 months on a fixed term contract basis.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience and in addition there are a wide range of benefits available.
Just to note that mainly site working will be required with the flexibility of some homeworking
