Job Details
3 days a week (1 day required from the office) 9 month maternity cover role starting as soon as possible
Your new role
- Preparation and maintenance of monthly accounts and production of the annual financial statements.
- Analysis of both financial and non-financial information leading to insights needed to improve the performance of the business
- Maintaining the financial integrity of the accounting package including maintenance and development.
- Budget monitoring and assisting with the co-ordination and preparation of budgets, key performance indicators, forecasts and the financial plan.
- Review cash flow monitoring, calculate optimum gift aid payments and tax calculations as required.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors as required to enable them to complete their work within agreed timescales.
- VAT Calculations and returns
- Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required by the Group head of finance or Group finance director.
What you'll need to succeed
- Be able to start immediately
- Do 2 full weeks in the office for an initial training period
- Commit to 3 days a week (1 day in the office) from May-December 22
- Full qualification is required for this role
- Previous public sector/ housing experience is desirable but not essential
