Job Details
Responsible to the Head of Operational Finance, with a dotted reporting line to the Assistant
Operations Director, to provide comprehensive business partnering and therefore support
and constructively challenge operations to drive business performance & efficiency's in the
region

Description
Deliver commercial business partnering service to operations which incorporates
proactive review and analysis of the region, facilitates operational decision making
and drives improvement in trading performance
Produce regional management accounts in a timely and accurate manner ensuring
they are robust and accurately reflect current trading performance
Deliver meaningful and insightful commentary which supports the accounts and
reflects key business issues
Work closely with the Group Finance Manager to ensure alignment between monthly
management accounts and statutory accounts, particularly with the Trust's joint
ventures
Work collaboratively with key business partners and stakeholders to develop
successful partnering relationships that work in the best interests of the Trust
Profile
Evidence of up to date knowledge of accounting standards
Led and developed a strong finance team of 1+ persons,
and in multi-site environment
Extensive experience of preparing and presenting monthly
management accounts, annual budgets and forecasts
Demonstrable experience of business partnering and
adding commercial value to an organisation
Training and development of team and non-finance
colleagues
