Senior Reinsurance Accountant
Your new company
They are a very fast-growing business through organic growth & acquisitions. In the last year, the London office has increased from 50 to 100 employees, with Finance being their fasting growing business area. There are around 500 employees across their offices internationally. You will be part of a finance function of around 20 employees.
Your new role
They are looking for a Reinsurance Accountant to support the growth of the UK Finance function within the Group. The role-holder will be responsible for day-to-day analysis and reporting on inward reinsurance accounting.
- Work closely with UK & EU finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of internal reinsurance
- Perform reconciliations of reinsurance data to accounts
- Add value to reporting process by analysis the results
- Improve reporting processes
- Engage with treasury team
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual reinsurance MI
What you'll need to succeed
You will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). Reinsurance experience is preferable but not essential, but insurance industry experience is essential.
