Interim Financial Controller

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growth, Oxford University spin-out as their Financial Controller. With a market leading product that is support households to live better, save money and reduce their impact on the environment, the company has an excellent purpose and objective.

Your new role

As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing all the Company Accountant (Month-end, payroll banking etc)
• Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financial Management and KPI reporting
• Manage and implement Financial/Reporting Systems
• Produce Budgets and Forecasts with variance analysis
• Cashflow management and reporting
• Manage and grow the Finance team (currently 1 head)
• Support the annual audit process
• Produce annual R&D Tax Credit
• Support investment rounds
• Contribute to the continued growth of the company

What you'll need to succeed

To be the successful candidate, you will need:

• Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA etc.) or QBE
• 5 years+ working in Finance, ideally from a similar level role
• Strong systems and IT skills (Sage 50 / 200 and Excel)
• Strong business acumen and communication skills
• The ability to forward plan and implement improvements
• The desire to operate and grow in a fast-pace role
