Fantastic Finance Director role, Hull City
Your new company
Our client, a well-established successful manufacturing business, based in Hull, is looking to recruit to the job of Finance Director.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director you will play an integral role managing, leading and coaching the Finance and IT team in upholding the businesses' financial and accounting policies, systems and processes . Responsibilities will include the preparation of monthly and yearly financial results, liaison with auditors and banking institutions, cash-flow forecasting, management of insurances and risk management, systems/IT development and Group reporting. In particular you will be instrumental in analysing, building and developing processes which can be to delivered and explained to a wide-ranging audience making finance more easily understood across the business.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a professionally qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA, ICAS) with at least 10 years senior level experience within accounting and finance and ideally exposure to the engineering, manufacturing or construction sectors. You must be a strong communicator, influencer, mentor and coach and be able to adapt to a changing culture as the business continues to diversify and grow.
