Statutory Accounts Senior – Fully Qualified or Finalist

Are you an Accounts Senior, either ACA fully qualified or a finalist with a few exams remaining, looking to upgrade to a modern and forward thinking medium sized practice (with 60 staff) based in a prime location in Central London? Are you looking for a role which is mainly statutory accounts and corporation tax based? If so, this growing medium size accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit an ACA qualified (or a finalist) Accounts Senior or Business Services Senior due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Your role will be varied and will include: managing your own portfolio of clients, preparing statutory accounts from start to finish for Ltd companies, corporation tax returns and offering clients advise how to improve their business. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as management accounts, VAT returns, various reports, analysis and business management assignments and assist staff management duties and review work more junior staff prepare. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a large team that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future including the chance to be promoted to Manager grade in a short space of time.

To be considered for this new role (May 2022) you will be a qualified ACA (or a finalist with no more than 4 exams remaining) and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts from start to finish. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking to step up to a larger firm or you will already be working for a large practice and are looking to work in a more friendly firm with a better work life balance and faster progression. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including Xero would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary. You must now be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern West End based accountancy firm where you can continue with your accountancy career, work on an interesting client base and learn new skills so you can progress to managerial level in the future.
