A modern & forward-thinking chartered accountancy practice based in Bolton are seeking an Accounts Manager to join their friendly and close-knit team. This accountancy practice offers a wide ranges of accounting and value added services including business services, personal services and financial management. They're hot on cloud accounting and software and take a modern approach to accounting. They pride themselves on providing a second to none service to clients and having a highly personable team.

Your new role
In this Bolton based firm of Chartered Accountants as an Accounts Manager you will be in charge of handling your own portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. Your clients turnovers will range up into the millions and you will be in charge of building and maintaining lasting client relationships. You will be responsible for managing your WIP, delegating and reviewing work, providing tax planning and advisory services to your client base. You will also work with the partners to standardise processes across the firm and ensure a high quality of work is produced across the firm. There is also a monetized incentive to grow your portfolio undertaking active business development and growing your network.

What you'll need to succeed
The directors are looking for an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has gained some PQE with strong technical skills across the OMB market. You will have previous experience of managing a portfolio of some form and be confident reviewing accounts to FRS102 standards. On top of this, they're very keen to meet with people that are personable, engaging, able to work well and socialise in a team and someone who can give excellent client service.
