Corporate Tax Assistant Manager job IN HOUSE - ATT CTA ACCA ACA Hybrid Working - On site parking

My client is a leader in renewable and sustainable energy with a global footprint. Due to natural progression within the team, a new opportunity is available for an Assistant Manager to join their team to assist with corporate tax and reporting. An excellent opportunity for a first time mover from practice to an in-house role.

They have a global reach with and interesting logistics network and are keen to further explore their market.

Your new role
You will:

  • Assist with the compliance and tax reporting for the UK entity of the business
  • Focus on corporation tax and employment benefit, current and deferred tax reporting and forecasting
  • Complete the more complex returns including CIR, Group Relief Optimisations, R&D claims and double tax relief claims
  • Review the more straight forward returns
  • Assist with VAT, foreign VAT and ECSL returns as needed
  • Prepare year end group consolidations
  • Support with interim and year end external audit
  • Assist with WHT compliance
  • Support with the mentoring of the tax trainee


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant at ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA level with experience within a corporate tax role. You may already be working in an ion-house tax role looking to take a step up, or this could be an excellent opportunity for a first mover from practice.
