Are you a Finance Manager looking to work in a Part Time (3 to 4 days a week) sole charge role internally for a niche and very high profile Accountancy Practice firm based in the Heart of Londons West End? Are you looking to work in a newly created role, in a position which has been carried out by the Partners but has been newly created to free up the Partners time to focus on the business? Are you looking to work for a friendly and relaxed, yet highly professional firm, which is one of the major Accountancy firms in the UK and internationally that works with very high profile A list Music, Media, Sport, Entertainment and Film & TV Clients? Based in a newly created role and reporting directly to the Partners your role will be varied and hands on. You will be responsible for controlling and maintaining all financial areas of the practice, duties to include: preparation of the firms management accounts and annual statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, cashflows, budgets and general bookkeeping duties. You will also be responsible for areas such reviewing and improving internal controls, systems, processes and procedures and improving the firms overall efficiency and profitability. You will also be in charge of implementing new software packages in the firm. Your role will be high profile, varied and highly rewarding and you will be given the opportunity to really make your mark on this growing firm. The firm will offer complete flexibility with the exact days and hours you work and would suit someone who needs to fit work around children / school arrangements.

To be considered for this new role (May 2022) you must be an ACA qualified candidate at managerial level with at least 3 years of PQE. You will be looking to work in a part time role, either 3 or 4 full days a week or 5 days with reduced hours. You will either be working as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller, already in a relevant industry such as an accountancy firm or law firm, or you will be an Audit Manager or Accounts Manager currently working in an Accountancy firm and looking to move into an internal finance role in a niche accountancy firm. You must have strong technical and communication skills, strong academics, as well as being able to work by yourself and work to tight deadlines. You will report directly to the owners of the business and also be responsible for many ad hoc projects.
