This is a broad financial reporting role, managing a small team and reporting to the Financial Controller. Description
As Finance Manager, your duties will include:
- Ownership of month end process, preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage statutory reporting and tax requirements
- Work closely with auditors, providing supporting documentation
- Lead monthly meetings with department heads to review performance
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor cash requirements
- Support with ad hoc financial analysis and project work
- Work closely with transactional finance team, preparing reports for Leadership team to review
- Develop and manage a small team
- Business partnering with key internal stakeholders to provide financial support and analysis
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Background in Audit/Financial Reporting (desirable)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Used to working to tight deadlines
- Proactive and team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ambitious and driven
