Financial Accountant

Have you always had a keen interest in both numbers and design? We have been instructed by a world-renowned firm of leading architects, who are looking to increase their Finance Function and hire a Financial Accountant to work closely with their UK Head of Finance. This role could combine your passion for design and figures. The company has created some iconic buildings across the globe and has some exciting plans as the business enters a new phase post-pandemic, in developing its heritage and influence further.

Working in a Hybrid capacity from both home and their stunning offices in Central London, as a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties.

• Production of annual statutory accounts for a variety of group companies
• Production of  Corporation Tax returns and schedules
• Production of VAT returns
• Assisting the head of finance with preparing final consolidated accounts
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting

This role would suit a recently qualified person (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA), currently working in a small to medium-sized firm of Chartered Accountants, currently dealing with Year-End, Bookkeeping, Audit, Accounts Production, and Taxation for a wide range of clients.  You should have a reasonable level of MS Excel and have a varied knowledge of Accountancy software systems.
