Job Details

Acting as the key point of contact and lead for the SOX and controls program across the UK division of a US listed business. You'll manage 1 person and control the day-to-day running of the function.

Description

Support the business through financial & IT framework changes

Manage the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Strengthening Our Controls (SOC) programmes

Manage, deliver and continuously improve the SOX testing programme to ensure SOX compliance

Line manage 1 individual and ensure they have a clear personal development plan to achieve success.

Act as key contact for internal audits as well as the ISAE 3402 controls audit.

Partner with the business to promote a strong control environment and drive change where necessary.

Innovate and make improvements and develop new ideas, methods and services.

Encourage risk awareness and maintain the risk register.

Engage others regarding application of accounting policies under US GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS fall within this role.

Profile

This position requires:

    ACA/ACCA QualificationStrong controls/ SOX background Prior experience in internal or external auditingCommercial awareness to support the businessStrong process mapping experienceAbility ton manage tight deadlinesAbility to engage & influence senior stakeholdersLine management experience is preferred Experience in health care/ pharmaceutical/ wholesale and/or distribution is preferred but not essential

Job Offer

£60,000 - £65,000 Salary

£4,500 Car Allowance
