I am working with a fast growing PE backed business who are looking to recruit an ambitious Financial Controller to be a No.2 to the CFO. Description
The Financial Controller will build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with senior managers, their teams and key financial stakeholders. They will lead on financial governance and accounting policy along with finance team resource matters; influence decision-making; improve the understanding of business performance; developing and delivering financial strategy; delivering analysis and insight on financial and business opportunities. A key responsibility will be to ensure the business has the necessary systems, procedures, policies and skills to successfully scale from a £10m business to £100m+ within the next 12 months, and £500m+ within 3 years.
Profile
You will be either ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a good blend of technical and commercial experience. You will have Ability to influence across the organisation and communicate with non-finance stakeholders effectively along with working well in a team environment. Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills and the ability to work well under pressure and manage to tight deadlines are essential. Strong MS Excel skills are key too.
Job Offer
You will get a base salary of up to £75,000 along with a bonus and a very good benefits package which includes 26 days holiday plus a bonus.
