This diverse and interesting client base provides an excellent platform for prospective candidates to apply their their skills and focus on a compliance role with a team that has grown significantly over the last few years and continues to grow both in terms of the work available and in size.
This role would particularly suit candidates who are looking to specialise in a supportive environment for a business that is truly focused on fund compliance.
As a senior manager in the team the role would encompass the following:
Responsibility for the quality review of a portfolio of large and/or complex fund clients;
Identify potential consulting projects that might arise from the compliance work;
Working with other senior staff to manage the overall team (people, finances, technology, marketing);
Responsibility for transitioning work into the compliance team;
Provide support and tax technical assistance to the team;
Provide specialist support in the ongoing development of technology to support the fund compliance work;
Work alongside the advisory teams to take the compliance offering to market.
Essential skills and experience
Experienced reviewer of private equity fund compliance in the following areas:
Partnership computations and returns;
Experience with general partner corporate tax returns;
ATT, CTA, AAT or ACA qualified;
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams;
Excellent interpersonal skills both oral and written.
